Sandra Shackelford

Sandra Shackelford spent a decade working for civil and human rights in the Mississippi Delta town of Greenwood during the 1950's and sixties. She is a professional writer, documentary artist, instructor and oral historian.  A former journalist and accomplished professional artist, Sandra has taught at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Saint Norbert College and Aldo Leopold Community School, and as a writing specialist at the College of Menominee Nation. She is currently working on her memoir.
