Food Memory: How To Spice Up Writing
When writing his memoir set in Wisconsin, national Gourmand Award winner Thomas Pecore Weso realized food evoked his most powerful memories. Aromas, flavors, textures—all the important elements of good descriptions— came naturally. This discussion and workshop will center on how to use food as a subject and/or how to add flavor to poetry or prose, especially using the Wisconsin cornucopia.

Participants should bring writing materials for on-the-spot writing about memorable flavor experiences.
