Michael Leannah draws on his experience as an elementary school teacher and his popular picture books Most People and Goodnight Whispers to show and explain how to be more loving and accepting of others, and of ourselves.

The first half of the session is aimed at children and the parents and teachers who care for and work with them. Participants will observe—or take part in—demonstrations and role-playing activities.

The second half focuses on esteem-boosting writing activities and games for the home or classroom. Mike will use examples from his instruction book We Think with Ink to lead a variety of fun and meaningful exercises.
